Is Churchill Senior Living an assisted living facility?

No, Churchill Senior Living is NOT an assisted living facility but is an independent living community for individuals age 62+.

What services/activities are provided at Churchill Senior Living?

We offer an array of active social activities at Churchill.  We offer Bingo night, Movie Night, morning Breakfast events, Dinner nights with entertainment, Fitness Class (low impact), Casino trips, Lunch trips, and more.

How much does it cost?

Depending on the apartment size the price will vary.  However, we pride ourselves on being the best value and have apartments to fit every budget/price point.

What does the rent include?

The rent pays for your apartment monthly, water & sewer service, trash service, and gives our residents access to all our amenities (Library, Fitness Room, Theater Room, Computer Room, Lounge Areas, Walking paths around the Lake, and Swimming Pool during Summer months). 

Is there anything else besides rent that residents have to pay?

Rent covers everything except electric, phone and/or cable service currently offered through Comcast or Verizon.

Are there any options to help with the rent?

Yes, we do accept the Montgomery County Rental Assistance program which can offer up to $200.00 per month if you qualify as well as vouchers through the Housing Opportunities Commission (H.O.C.)

How do I setup a visit or apply?

The first step is to contact our office by phone at 301-528-4400 or email us here to set up an appointment and come in so we can meet with you and discuss our availability and how we can meet your needs and make your transition to Churchill as easy as possible.  Also, we do accept walk-ins during office hours but prefer appointments.  There is an application which would be needed to be completed at the property. 

What is the average age of residents at Churchill?

Due to Fair Housing Laws, we cannot answer that question but all our residents are 62+.

Do you offer transportation services and what is the charge?

Yes, we do have our own Churchill shuttle bus that takes our residents to shopping centers, grocery stores, and doctors’ appointments within the area and there is NO charge as it is a FREE service for our residents.

Do you allow pets?

We are a pet friendly community at Churchill all pets must be under the 30lb limit.
